It's the beginning of the week and for me, it's a bad start.
I had a very unpleasant morning today, and I swear it's the worst encounter I have experienced ever since I was born.
This morning when I woke up, I went to the bathroom as usual (daily routine), intending to wash up and prepare myself for work. Just before I started my bathing, I sense something not quite right.
I felt the wierd feeling again, and a black curtain suddenly came in front of me. Before I can react, I blackout and fell flat on my face. This isn't the first time I black out in the morning, but this is definitely the first time I injured myself after the fall.
After the blackout, I fell and my chin hit onto something (I think is the pail in the bathroom). After the fall, I was still concious, hence I waited for the black curtain in front of me to wipe out before I stand. I knew that my chin hit onto something and didn't know it was a cut until I look into the mirror and realise it's bleeding very badly. To my horror, the cut was a deep one.
Telling myself to stay calm, I turn on the tap and wash my wound and of course, look into the mirror again to see how deep it was, again. Sacrily, it was that deep that I felt scared as well. Luckily, the bleeding stopped after I was the wound and clean the wound.
As I still feel fainty, I sat on the floor of the bathroom for a while more to let the fainty feel subside before I stand up again. I scared that I will fell again.
I change into my clothing and headed to the clinic for a checkup, diagnose and also dressing on my wound.
Seeking my young boss advice, I headed to the polyclinic to visit the doctor. The queue was scarily long. I waited for like 1.5 hours before it's my turn to go in to the docor. I told doctor my encounter and he finds it wierd and scary as well.
He took my blood pressure - fine. He send me to another room for ECG - fine too. So I am perfectly fine actually, but why do I blackout in the morning, no one knows.
He advised me to go to a specialist for a thorough body checkup. I agreed. Hence he gave me a referred letter to go to TTSH for a body checkup in the next few weeks.
Now, I had a bandage at my chin. The nurse at the polyclinic help me place 4 stripes of tapes on my wound area to pull my wound together and hopefully it will close the deep wound. This is used to replace stitching as I didn't want to stitch and docttor mention there is not a need to as the wound it not really bleeding very badly.
I won't be able to be pretty pretty for the next few months (sad sad). And the wound will take a few months to heal.
Now, my whole body seems like aching all over. I have no idea if it's the fall that cause my body ache or what. Both my hand muscle is aching too. I will have to turn in early today if not later tomorrow I faint again, then I think I can die already.
Thanks for all my colleague for the concern, I'm fine hence don't worry ya. :)
