After being MIA for so long, I'M FINALLY BACK!!!

Sorry people, we so so busy with my tight schedule of work as well as projects that I can hardly bring myself to my computer after I reach home. Super drained out throughout the week.

I'll try my best to update all I can so this entry will be a super long entry. Bear with me ya. I'll try to summurize it. ;)

16 July 2007 - Monday
Went to collect my boss car today with his dad at East Coast during the evening. No one in office except me have a driving license who is free to do the job, so I've got to go. Well, luckily I drove his car before, if not I sure tremble one.

After that should have meeting but was postpone to the next day as boss say the other two of my colleagues cant make it back on time. I waited for like an hour till 7 plus for the meeting some more. Pissed.

After that, went to have dinner at Raffles Place since I can't get to eat my beloved Minced Meat Meesua the day before, with the offer from my colleague's lift, we headed there to eat. He too said it was nice and nearly ordered a second bowl. Haha. No photos of it though.

Thereafter, we left the kopitiam and headed aimlessly on the road looking for a place to sit and chill. Well, ended up at Jurong Hill, a location just above Jurong Bird Park. There a Tanpayaki Restaurant there, probably next time can go try.

I didn't know there was such cool place in Singapore. The view of Jurong Port was fantastic. Below are some pictures that I grabbed from the web of the night view from Jurong Hill. It's fancinating.

After a while, we left for home.

17 July 2007 - Tuesday

Today's meeting, as usual was postponed for don't know what reason. I know it. After so many postpones, I can somehow sense that the next meeting will again be early in the morning. And right, to my instinct, it was the next day 8.30am. Argh~ I hate morning meeting, meaning I will have to get a cab to work as I normally can never wake up so early.

Went to Bedok Interchange for KFC for dinner instead. My first KFC dinner after so long. Finally, I can eat chicken. Wohoo~ Chicken, here I come!!! Haha..

The chicken fold over (no idea what it's called) was not as tasty as that of the AMK's. Regreted not eating the 2pcs chicken meal. Grr~ I'll have it the next time round.

After dinner, headed over to Vivocity to look around for some sculpture thingy for my project but didn't fnd anything special or unique. Without anything fruitful, we left for home again, thinking we might be able to drop by some places to drink a few cups but no parking lots. Hee. So headed home.

18 July 2007 - Wednesday

A normal but tiring day coz wake up early for the stupid meeting in the morning. Just finish with my newspaper publication which I think it was quite nicely done. But boss say hold first as he want to include another product into it. Testing my skill of squeezing all info into one page. Cool~

Went to AMK Hub after work for my craving bits, Crispy Mushroom. But sadly, it's SOLD OUT!!! I'm so sad la. Keep thinking about it while I was alking around AMK Hub. My motive there was to eat the Crispy Mushroom. =(

After that, went home with disappointment.

19 July 2007 - Thursday

Usual day for me. Went to work and then home for my dinner.

20 July 2007 - Friday

Should I say a happening day for me? Probably. I have to rush 2 birthday bashes. Thanks to my colleague Ray for his couetosy of sending me to Yishun along the way home for him, so that I can take a bus to Seng Kang for my friend's birthday. It's my beloved Yihui's 21st Suprised Birthday party. Well, it's always good to have many friends, especially many good friends, to give you a great suprise during birthday.

I was crazing around as usual and making a fool of myself, making everyone in the house laughing.

After cake cutting and a short picture taking session, I left for my other party at Cineleisure. It's for my ex-colleague Lucia. Well, a KTV session is always a thing to end with. Sang a few great songs and the birthday girl actually prepare a whole list of songs on paper to the KTV so that she can dedicate and sing. Cool~

After that, with the curteosy of the guy colleague, I got a free ride home, all of us. Thanks.

21 July 2007 - Saturday

Went to work and left after doing some band stuff and some quotations. There was a bit of mess in the bandroom before I reach as someone holding the key was late. I tried opening the store and after a slight push, the door went ajar. It wasn't even lock. Seeing everyone's black face I also a bit scared. So tried to make everything going again and luckily everything went quite well.

After that headed back to Woodlands for my project meeting. I thought I will be the latest but in the end I'm one of the earliest. Hmm. but alright, everything still went on well. Finally, we decided not to do films, and change to doing on paintings and sculptures.

We were to decide on 3 paintings or sculptures by end of next week in order to keep ourselves in time, not forgetting we have exam for this module.

Afterwhich my colleague came to fetch me for dinner. He so nice to me lah. Hee. Decided to go for Ma La Steamboat since it's a cold day and he is craving for it. Didn't eat a lot today, don't know why. Hmm. After dinner, went to the nearby 7-Eleven to buy more drinks to quench our thirst. Headed to the arcade at Bugis thereafter to look at the experts play basketball.

As the night is still pretty young, we headed to Mount Faber. Hee. Yet another nice nice place to go, especially for couple. But I still prefer Jurong Hill. Couples with car can try locating Jurong Hill and go "pat-toh" there.

Since I need to keep a lookout for sculptures and paintings, it's such a co-incidence that I got to see this wooden made paint sculpture on the wall and it actually fits into what I needed for project.

Some of the cool pictures I have took for your enjoyment.

22 July 2007 - Sunday

Went to cut my hair in the early afternoon and pop by my friend's house to watch 300 Pound beauty. My friend got a shock when he saw me crying like nobody's business. Thereafter laughed at me, scolding me silly. Well, I'm such an emotionaly person, it's not within my control.

Anyway, what a suprise I got today. Although I didn't really express my suprise receiving it, but deep down inside me, I'm super happy. Well, it's not too cheap though but I still like it la. It's sleep with me every night now, taking awahy half of my bed, leaving me with only half of sleep. But at least it's on the bed throughout the night.

Like it so much, thanks a lot.

A picture of the big cutie tortise. Hee. Imagine the head twice bigger than mine. Gosh~

Was on my way to work this morning when I met this irritating driver which doesn't even show a glimpse of driver's ethic.

Well, I was late this morning, therefore alighted at Aljunied station and board a cab to work. Was along the road where someone before flag for a cab but due to some unforeseen circumstances, the cab uncle wasn't able to pick her up. Therefore, I flag for that same cab. And it irritates me a lot when the cab is coming to a stop in front of me when the car behind tend to speed up and follow so close to the cab and nearly bump into it. Nearly bump into it still already coz at least not bump into it, but the horn that the driver used is super irritating. It's not a short one, but a long one.

I looked at the driver for a while and he is an army guy. I expect an army guy to have a decent patient but he just did such a hilarious thing, which I think the horning part isn't needed. Not like he never see me flaging the cab or something, and not that he won't expect the cab to come to a stop.

When I was alighting at my company area, the cab uncle got horn again. Sometimes, I just feel that all these horns are not needed. It's creating a lot of noise to the surrounding. Some more the uncle have already switch on the hazel light, not that the drivers behind are blind? I think the uncle also felt quite irritated by all the horns (from his expression).

Sometimes, I just feel that these drivers really make people irritated, make people's life difficult. I do feel that at many times, an accident will not occur without the driving horning the car in front. Many a times, accident occurs after the horning part, which normally will give the driver been horned a shock and not being able to react logically.

So drivers out there, please spare some thought for the driver in front, and be a bit patient with them. At the end of the day, everyone just want to reach their destination safely.

Went for Mus'art Charity Concert at VCH yesterday. I shall say Lewis did a fantastic job with his solo on the Horn Concerto. There were a few solos throughout the whole concert, first is horn, followed by tuba, saxophone and flute. It was an eye-opener I shall say for those who have yet to hear any such kind of solo concertos before.

I was again quite irritated by the few guys sitting in front of me. Head being too big is one thing, another thing is when the soloist is playing, they kept shacking their head, giving the impression that they can play better than the soloist. I don't understand. Soloist to perform on stage have already a lot of stress and tensed, and a few caught ups and mistakes is unavoidable. I feel that the audience should give them confidence and smile rather than the shaking of their heads. Mind me, I believe if they go up play, they will play as well, and I'll be down stage shaking my head tremendously.

I feel the whole concert, the best soloist is Lewis, followed by the Saxophonist. And the concert have a segment of "huang jing nian hua", with all the Teresa Teng's songs. The singer's vocal was indeed good, but too oldies type of vocal make me feel like I am attending some GRC's Karaoke Performance. Still, the whole concert was a fantastic one, which ends with PM Mr. Lim Boon Keng conducting the last picture of the night, and a wonderful full stop for the night's concert with "Incredibles".

Should I join Mus'art? Haha. I really don't mind, with so many familiar faces I've seen before, I think I will feel at least not so stressed. Hee. Considering.....

Finally a whole week of tight and busy life have ended, finally is time for me to take a day rest and relax myself. Been so tired lately due to tight work schedule and many stuff to settle.

Anyway, the Sinfonique Concert ended successfully. Personally, I feel that although it wasn't a wonderfully good concert, but everything went well so I was strill quite glad.

Anyway, being the stage manager for this concert is darn tiring. Why did I said so? People who isn't invlove with the back stage will not understand and know how massive this concert is, and how many movements and calculations of chairs is needed.

The whole day of Friday was definitely a tensed and stressful one, I can definitely assure you this. Think back, I think I have ran up and down the stairways of the audience area think more than 10 times. And what's more, I never had any chace to have dinner before the performance. Totally wear out and thirsty after the whole concert, and all I want is to go home and sleep all I can.

Went to S11 for our dinner and some minor thanking without ourselves (the stage crews). Anyway, eating out with them was still fun, especially with Jordan and gang. No idea when I will see them again. Hmm... Will miss the times we've had together, though short but fruitful and fun. And of course, I learn so many things from the experience I had. PLANNING IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Yesterday was super tired. I nearly doze off while driving, nearly. Woke up early coz still have to go work. Sigh, boring Saturday needed to go work. Reached office late coz I overslept, plus I need to return car. Then after I reached office, clean my table and computer before I continue with my work, can't stand my table to be messy and so dusty.

Send all quotations, reply all email before I left office for my KTV session with gang (Xiu, Karen, Herbert, Ah Tom and Ryan) at Orchard around 2.30pm. Boss send me to Paya Lebar MRT Station while shooting super many questions about me and xiao di (someone from my office).

KTV session was fun, extremely fun. And I think I was extremely noise this round. Hee. Too high, thanks to my lack of sleep. Hee. I was super high in the KTV room la. With "Oops, I did it again" with Ah Tom, to Aerosmith's "Don't want to miss a thing", was all like shouting out loud. Haha. Super fun.

After that went to Bali Lane to have dinner, suggested by Ryan. It's a japanese restaurant and the food there is dilecious. I don't mind going there for another round of meal next time, service goos, embience good, food good, what to complaint about then?

After that I went to meet my colleague initially wanted to go Chinatown to get some CDs and some stuff, but he said it's too late and by the time we reach there, the shop might have close, so accompanied him to dinner, since he haven't had any. Drove me to Stadium area for a dinner at the Cosy Bay. Pass by the Indoor Stadium and hear Jacky Cheung song coming out from inside the stadium. Curious, both of us went to test our luck to see if we can go in, although I know the chance is zero. Tell you, Jacky Cheung's singing is really great and awesome, it's nice man.

Before heading to meet the gang again at Boat Quay's Eskibar, I had a bottle of Hooch while waiting for my colleague to finish his lamb chop.

After which headed to Eskibar and someone was like half there, moaning for me to rescue her already. Ordered the Long Island Tea while my colleague ordered Heniken coz he still need to drive (cannot drink too much). After that join in the game with the guys and was lik sabo by them to drink, but overall was fun. Super long never had such fun time, hope to have more. Guys, you've hear me, I want more fun time. Haha.

Well, it's late, it's time for me to stop here and prepare to go for the Mus'art Concert at VCH at 7.30pm.

Take care guys.

Friendster Horoscope for July 11, 2007

Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

The Bottom Line

The way your life changes (if it changes) is your choice. The outcome is up to you.

In Detail

Are you on pins and needles about an upcoming verdict or decision? You shouldn't be. It doesn't matter what other people think right now, because ultimately the outcome is up to you, and the way your life changes (if it changes at all) is totally up to you. You can allow people to voice their opinions about what you are doing, but you do not have to obey them. Now is not the time to hand the steering wheel to someone else. You are in charge, so flex your muscles -- it will feel good!

Last day of the class with Dr. Keegan was fun and the outcome was great too. Had a presentation and all turn out to be so well. Got back my essay paper on Colors and the Art Museum write up and to my amazed, I got an A, 95/100. I thought I wrote out of point for some, but suprisingly I saw some good on my paper. Relieved...

had a role play acting with one of my male classmate few days ago and am quite glad that the class like it. It's a typical Shakespear type of play though and we just act through. Some other groups changed the script to model comedy, some improvised a bit, but we just act as written. I didn't know that my acting as the lead actress bring so much impression to Dr. Keegan, which kept telling me "Did I tell you I like your acting". How I wish this happen during my Star Search Audition.

Speaking of that, I flunk the audition and of course never got in. Was quite sad though, but no worries, I'll try again next time. Hehe.

After class on Fri (Dr. Keegan's birthday), we had a mini party of Pizza and food before some of us went to drink with Dr. Keegan at Boat Quay. First went to Archipelago and the place was packed with people, with the time we reach (10 plus), so my classmate Elizabeth went over to Jazz @ South Bridge to check out if there is any seats avaliable. A while later, she called saying there were seats, but the rest have already ordered drinks at Archipelago so have to wait till they finish the hop on to the next pub.

That night was special items from some jazz players from overseas, and the music were nice. To my amazed, Tim (that's what we call him but his full name is Timothy) knows how to plays the piano and on the spot he played a medley of Elton John's song, with the melody on the piano while he sang. Suddenly attracts me so much man. Seldom you see guys can play on piano and sing at the same time. Wohoo~ My class people are made up of all talents and occupations man. If someone really do sing and play on the spot for me, I will definitely be touched man.

Well, that was last week. Over the weekend, I had a car to use and therefore drive some of my click people to eat steamboat, which I had long to eat, finally can eat already. Still not touching chicken and seafood, I only had vegetables and pork. Afterwhich, we all decided to go to a place where we can chill, so Xiu suggest going Drink Drank Drunk at Chinatown. And there we goes, I drove them there. They had a few games of pool and I singing. I like the embience of the pub there. I think the No Smoking in Pubs and Clubs is correct, the air seems to be so much fresher than before. No more smelly smokers beside or behind me anymore. Cool~ Had a few games of dice on "Bluff" and "Passing 1 Giving 6". After which they divert into Guessing Fist and the directional game.

Karen was excited about the Fly Dart games as there is a counter to the scores, so Tommy and her wernt to play. After that all went to play and it was funny I should say. We bearly leave until 2pm. Drove everyone home before I reached home at around 3.30am. I was super tired that I went to bed after I had my wash up.

Clean my car the next afternoon and after that went to fetch the people in school for "dao hue". Initially was to be at Geylang, but due to no parking lots, I decided to drive them to Selegie instead. Had some cold & hot Soya Beancurd, Soya Bean milk, you tiao, butterfly bun and some salted bun. IT'S FANTASTIC & DELICIOUS. Haha.

Sent the all home before I met one of my colleague for dinner (since he had asked for so long, so just meet him loh). Went over to pick him up and had our dinner at ECP's "Wan Zai". After which walk awhile along ECP then drove around Singapore, yes, around Singapore.

Like my petrol is water like that. Drove from ECP to Jurong, then Clementi and finally concluded no where to go and then drove him back home. Yes. Boring is the word to describe it, plus heavy downpour some more, making me feel quite sian as I hated driving on rainy days. Think that will just shut him and stop him from pestering me some more, but I WAS WRONG.

Well, those who know what I mean will know.

Next day, work AGAIN. Yes, I'm emphasizing the word AGAIN. Quite sian about working coz damn no life, plus pay so little, work so many, but what to do. Acted as if nothing happen in office, me and that colleague of mine is like no link in position and we don't communicate in office. Probably I shouldn't have gave him my number when he asked one fine Saturday morning when no one was at the office yet. Argh~ WRONG MOVE WRONG MOVE.

Whatever it is, since I just treat him as friend, then just treat him as some normal friend then. Evening time he got screwed by boss (but sometimes my boss also wrong, always do things last minute). He not too happy of course, and me trying to be kind enough, agreed to go drink with him. Went to a KTV pub to drink and had a few songs. Well, I know I shouldn't have went with him but well, like I say treating him as friend, cannot aviod him right?

BUT THEN IT'S ANOTHER WRONG MOVE. Did something, the most stupid thing I think I have ever done last night. For those who know, you'll know, for those who don't, don't come asking what I did coz I won't say. An act done due to some drankness I had? Hmm, not at all coz I was very awake and know what I had done.

Damn! I felt quite bothered and affected by the incident, feeling I shouldn't have done that stupid thing. My mind is full of "why are you so stupid, you shouldn't have done that" message scrolling all over.

Idiot!!! Anyway, probably it's time for FLING. Haha. Crazy man. Alrighty, back to reality, back to work.

Bye!!!

Finally got my last module project submitted. One load put down, feel a bit lighter already.

Went to Pitch Black last night with my classmates to watch an arty film "Raising the Red Lantern", directed by Zhang Yi Mou, starred by Gong Li. It's a nice show I should say, but it's a show that needs a lot of thinking.

Went into some of the boutiques along Haji Lane, and bought aq piece of t-shirt. Hee. I like that t-shirt. It's been a long time I bought t-shirt already. Haha.

After that, some continue with their night for alcohol, and a few of us headed home. Luck me got a classmate living at Yishun, so I have someone accompanying me through my trip home. Hee. Quite a knowledge guy I should say, and he don't really look like his age. Well, talk quite a fair bit through the journey. Hee.

Finally able to sleep longer today. Phew~ Haha. Gotta start doing some write up for my submission on Tuesday when I'm back in school. (Friday was a field trip to Singapore Art Museum, Monday is the field trip to Raffles Place) Other than write up also have to do some artty futty drawings for my Friday presentation. Sigh. Thinking of doing Origami, shall I?? Haha.

Anyway, now in front of the TV console, and am so happy that Mediacorp is showing old school TV series. Hee. Just now was a show about army, and you can really see the different of pass TV show and now, and the buildings 10 over years ago and now, what has changed and all. Memories just came flowing back.

Now is showing "Golden Pillow", also another old school show. Am excited leh. Hee.

Ok la, I gotta stop now and I am going to my grandpa house soon. After that going to Marina Square to pass key to colleague. Hee. Take care palz....
