Was on my way to work this morning when I met this irritating driver which doesn't even show a glimpse of driver's ethic.
Well, I was late this morning, therefore alighted at Aljunied station and board a cab to work. Was along the road where someone before flag for a cab but due to some unforeseen circumstances, the cab uncle wasn't able to pick her up. Therefore, I flag for that same cab. And it irritates me a lot when the cab is coming to a stop in front of me when the car behind tend to speed up and follow so close to the cab and nearly bump into it. Nearly bump into it still already coz at least not bump into it, but the horn that the driver used is super irritating. It's not a short one, but a long one.
I looked at the driver for a while and he is an army guy. I expect an army guy to have a decent patient but he just did such a hilarious thing, which I think the horning part isn't needed. Not like he never see me flaging the cab or something, and not that he won't expect the cab to come to a stop.
When I was alighting at my company area, the cab uncle got horn again. Sometimes, I just feel that all these horns are not needed. It's creating a lot of noise to the surrounding. Some more the uncle have already switch on the hazel light, not that the drivers behind are blind? I think the uncle also felt quite irritated by all the horns (from his expression).
Sometimes, I just feel that these drivers really make people irritated, make people's life difficult. I do feel that at many times, an accident will not occur without the driving horning the car in front. Many a times, accident occurs after the horning part, which normally will give the driver been horned a shock and not being able to react logically.
So drivers out there, please spare some thought for the driver in front, and be a bit patient with them. At the end of the day, everyone just want to reach their destination safely.
Went for Mus'art Charity Concert at VCH yesterday. I shall say Lewis did a fantastic job with his solo on the Horn Concerto. There were a few solos throughout the whole concert, first is horn, followed by tuba, saxophone and flute. It was an eye-opener I shall say for those who have yet to hear any such kind of solo concertos before.
I was again quite irritated by the few guys sitting in front of me. Head being too big is one thing, another thing is when the soloist is playing, they kept shacking their head, giving the impression that they can play better than the soloist. I don't understand. Soloist to perform on stage have already a lot of stress and tensed, and a few caught ups and mistakes is unavoidable. I feel that the audience should give them confidence and smile rather than the shaking of their heads. Mind me, I believe if they go up play, they will play as well, and I'll be down stage shaking my head tremendously.
I feel the whole concert, the best soloist is Lewis, followed by the Saxophonist. And the concert have a segment of "huang jing nian hua", with all the Teresa Teng's songs. The singer's vocal was indeed good, but too oldies type of vocal make me feel like I am attending some GRC's Karaoke Performance. Still, the whole concert was a fantastic one, which ends with PM Mr. Lim Boon Keng conducting the last picture of the night, and a wonderful full stop for the night's concert with "Incredibles".
Should I join Mus'art? Haha. I really don't mind, with so many familiar faces I've seen before, I think I will feel at least not so stressed. Hee. Considering.....
